Absolutely wonderful! It was our first time at a ryokan and it exceeded our expectations by a wide margin. The tatami room was fantastic, the atmosphere making you never want to leave. The outdoors onsen was soo relaxing, and open 24/7 so there was no problem having your evening- midnight and early morning bath! We did not have the dinner experience, but the breakfast was absolutely spectacular. Local, seasonal cuisine that tasted divine, set up in a traditional Japanese room. Staff was very helpful, even though they spoke rather limited English, and a shuttle bus picked us up and left us at the bus stop. If you're around Morioka, definitely give this place a visit!

    Staff was very friendly during check in and they even spoke English, which was very helpful. They let me park on-site, which cost 900yen. If their lot is full, there is a paid parking lot on the corner available too. The single room was very spacious, clean and modern. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walking from the castle site and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as konbini across the road. Morioka is a wonderful city and I am glad I stayed here!

    Nice affordable hotel in a great location. Rooms were fairly large, breakfast was decent. Lots of sights and food in walking distance. Parking area was tight but staff moved cars around and made sure our vehicle was accessible when we needed it.

    Location is perfect. Drink bar is a nice addition thats included in the stay. Room was a good size and the price wasn't too much. The parking lot is very close and they give you a parking voucher of 900 yen. You have to pay a little out of pocket, but not much. More information about that is online. Great spot near the station, nightlife areas, restaurants and the river. River has some cool restaurants in shipping containers. Real nice city and hotel.
