What a delight! This was such a surprise. It’s very spacious and has the best water pressure I have ever experienced in my life. I hope that I will stay again for several nights when I return. It’s a great location and wonderful value especially if you can book a weekend. The home was spotless and the owner let us store luggage at his home after checkout so we could explore the island. Can’t recommend this enough. There is a great okonomiyaki restaurant next door and an Italian eatery down the street for dinner. Remember to bring cash because that’s what the owner requires up front for your stay.

The house is very nice and the location is close ro the ferry and different restaurants, very convenient. But the best part is the housekeeper - Lisa. I never encountered such a helpful and service oriented person. She helped me in a bad situation just out of the box. She is an outstanding person!!! Thank you Lisa!

This was really a wonderful place to stay. A beautiful Japanese house, very tastefully decorated. Quiet street and yet close to plenty of restaurants. Good and clear communication with the host. The accommodation was very clean. We will recommend to our friends.

Naoshima is worth a few days' visit, ideally on an electric bike. The hotel is set up gor this, with an easy luggage transfer set up from one of the bike shops, a great location 5-10 minutes' ride from the museum areas, and a good restaurant serving meals located right next door. The town where the hotel is located is interesting in itself as more "real" than the artist-enhanced towns and museum areas that one visits. It makes for a restful and interesting contrast.

    July 95 degrees. Extremely hospitable and our room was ready and air conditioned when we arrived. The sana was amazing, the little water area is a great place to cool off, we rented bikes for 24 down the street. Bathroom inside yurt is top notch, fridge inside, bike parking area, and the location is perfect by port and across from the beach.

    Simple but great stay on Naoshima. Swim at the beach . Airco keeps it cool inside . Parking . Vending machines . Good cold showers . No towels , and you need to make up your own bed .

    Large, very clean room with fully appointed kitchen in quiet neighborhood near delicious restaurant, Onomiaki Umikko. Friendly, helpful owner, free bikes (we didn’t use), free parking )we did use). May feel a little separated from art areas but everything on the island is actually very close and easily accessed.

    Our little chalet was gorgeous! Everything looked new and spotlessly clean. The beds were really comfortable and all other facilities were great! The staff was friendly and helpful and parking our rented car on the property was easy and convenient. Location is good too with a few little restaurants/bars within walking distance.
