1. From pre-arrival to departure, personalised service was extended all the time. I appreciated the hotel response to my inquiries prior to our arrival. Swift responses with details at any time. 2. Breakfast was exceptional with local produce. Breakfast set menu was changed daily so we truly enjoyed varieties of dishes and tastes. 3. Establishment itself was historical especially that location.

Staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond to meet our needs. They even gave me a birthday surprise. I like that the rooms are big and spacious (versus the usual Japanese rooms which can be very small) - perfect for our family of four with 2 kids. Everything still feels new and very clean. There is also a small lounge with free drinks and snacks.

The location and breakfast were top class. The sky spa was a wonderful bonus and we were able to avail of a massage in our room via hotel reception. The staff were attentive and professional. We enjoyed a short but very comfortable stay at the Candeo Hotel.
