We had a great stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The shared facilities where clean as well. The breakfast was also okay, Toast, marmelade, coffee, Tea and every morning something fresh from the kitchen (Egg, sausage etc.)

The eat&drink-all-you-can dinner was delicious and the food was prepared on order. Menu varied for the two nights. View of the frozen port from the room was calming.

Great location, just seconds away from the bus station and near the main spots to visit in Utoro. Everything is clean and has a new feeling to it. The hostess was really kind, and we spoke both in japanese and english. The food is also delicious, and quite different from what I had tried so far in Japan, really recommend trying it out. This part is not related to the accomodation, but if you want to book a tour of the Five Lakes area (mandatory in bear season), I really recommend Hataya-san from Shinra, a tour company with an office close by. The experience is really worth it, and it includes transportation between your accomodation and the Five Lakes.

Very spacious, clean room with beautiful view from the window. Shared onsen was clean and comfortable. We were so happy with the room that we booked an extra night. Big kitchen and common area.

We had a Natural Twin Room with a good view. Room is big and offers everything you need. Bed very comfortable, windows can be opened. Bathroom is a bit small but you instead can use the onsen. Onsen was great, outdoor bath available too. Breakfast and Dinner were Buffet-stayle and really good choice and quality. Staff was very nice and helpful, they spoke english too.

We stayed here for 2 nights in November 2023. The Japanese-Style Twin Room - Non-Smoking - West Wing, the room was tidy, very spacious and overlook the Sea of Okhotsk. Internationl and Japanese original dish in buffet breafast and dinner. Lots of choices and very delicious dishes. There are male and female Onsen, also you can book a private Open Air Onsen Bath. Onsite Hokkaido souvenir shops for shopping and tax refunds as a big bonus. We would denfinely stay here again if we go to Shari again.

Hotel Shiretoko features an outdoor and an indoor hot spring bath, which are both accessible through the night. A sauna provides further relaxation.Free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby.

Spacious and comfortable room. Onsen facilities were good, if a little busy at times. Good facilities like vending machines and microwave, since it was a 10 minute walk to the town
