The owner runs the place alone, but he still went all the way to the airport to pick me up. Despite my very limited Japanese ability, we were able to communicate quite well.. But the most important thing was he helped me rent a small scooter that I surely would not be able to rent without a local person vouching for me. This made my Amami trip really unforgettable and I'm forever grateful for the help I have received here! Also the evening of tasting local shōchū and stargazing was amazing. I will be back!

We had a wonderfull stay at Mijora Beachfront. The view from the room was stunning! The bathroom is amazing. Room with kitchen has everything you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some time at the pool and visited a lot of different beaches. The island is not touristy which we liked a lot. Location is perfect.

The house has a pleasant, traditional feel and it is very spacious. The kitchen is big and it was easy to prepare meals every day. The host was very nice and whenever we had any questions she promptly responded. The garden, as small as it is, is well taken care of and we could actually pick some ripe kumquats from the tree. The location is practical for exploring northern part of the island. It was a marvellous holiday.

Felt at home right away. The location was the best, straight at the beach! All they things you need are available in this nice modern big appartement. More than enough clean towels, nice beds, decent bathroom, kingsize tv, good kitchen and even a good washing machine. What is not to like?

Nobuko is a wonderful host who helped us with everything we could possibly want or need. The little house is spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped. The only thing that we missed a bit was more comfy space to lounge around since we were 4 people (eg a couch or more armchairs). We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Nobuko!
