A beautifully renovated new hotel in an old traditional building in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. Design is a perfect blend of traditional and modern with great attention to detail – each room has a different character and so would like to return again and try a different room. Helpful, kind staff and great food. Also enjoyed the wine bar where you can enjoy snacks and wine in the evening.

I loved how quiet the neighborhood was. The house itself was kept beautiful and it was a great experience of traditional housing with a lovely view onto the small river (there were some big koi fish and little terrapins you could see too!)

Super friendly staff, they left towels out at the entrance when they found out we were arriving after rain. Very well stocked kitchen with all crockery as well as sauses and condements. The house was beautiful and very clean. It's located right next to the old town so it's ideal for exploring Kurashiki. They had a good projector which we used to watch TV.
