This is a very comfortable, clean & budget friendly hotel in a good location. The room is small with a small functional private bathroom. It’s great for one person, two people will probably find it tight. I travelled with 2 friends and we each got our own rooms, side by side, for 4 nights, which was good. Clean pajama, towels, slippers, toothbrush are provided daily. There is a small kettle in room & hotel has an elevator. Although staff did not speak English, we were able to communicate with google translate. The gentleman at the desk, helped us book our next accommodation.

Spacious and comfortable, especially for Japanese properties which is hard to find as a family of five. It had all amenities, including a kitchen with cooktops, two toilets, and a washing machine/dryer located in the powder room. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and made sure we had all we needed to enjoy the property and the city. If you would like a comfortable traditional Japanese stay within easy walking distance to shops, transport and attractions, would recommend this property!

The hotel is perfectly located in Dogo Onsen with private access via elevator to the main shopping district. Everything looks brand new throughout the hotel and my room offered a balcony with spectacular views of Matsuyama with its Castle and the mountain range in the distance. The onsen on the top floor is very nice with an open-air bath and might be the best in the area. The staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast was just delicious. I also enjoyed the live piano evenings at the lobby.
