Beautiful location with water views from bed. Quite isolated but lovely for relaxing retreat. Comfortable bed. Fantastic shower with a view. Fantastic deck overlooking the water and trees. Lovely to have our own space.

Great place for a large family or group of friends. Wish we had stayed longer so we could take advantage of the sauna and the fire pit. Wonderful to see the sun rise over the sea in the morning. Very clean and all you need for a self catering stay. The futons were very comfy.

It is perfect to stay after temple 34, great if on a bicycle trip. There is a workshop next to the homestay to leave the bicycle under a roof. The beds are comfy, have curtains and the room is very spacious. The communal area is super japanese style with the lower table which is a great experience. I was provided with a bath towel for free which makes everything easier. The washing machine has the centrifugation option which is great for those who don't want to use the dryer. Overall the homestay is super welcoming. The lady did not talk any English and I did not talk any Japanese yet it was easy to understand each other. They have translations everywhere so it is easy to understand how everything works. The candies for the energy when cycling were super nice! The homestay is located in a more of a rural area but there is a huge supermarket very close, where you can buy sashimi and lots of other options, and also a nice restaurant where you can also eat sashimi, sushi and other delicacies. Both accept cards.
