Absolutely perfect little place. You'll stay in one of 3 beautiful tatami rooms on the second floor and sleep on nicely thick and warm futons. Available to all guests are: two toilets, a shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a big living room with plenty of space. The whole house is lovingly decorated and you'll feel right at home. The hosts are fond of the wild deer that sometimes wander through town and you can probably find a picture or figurine of one of them in every corner of the house. The host couple is super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were recommended a great restaurant and also purchased tickets to the local onsen directly from them, saving us a couple yen. Lastly they have their own part of the house on the first floor so you can reach them right away if any questions arise.

Very friendly staff and the food was very good. Overall super clean, with body soap, shampoo and conditionner available for free. Location is perfect if you need to take the ferry to visit Rishiri and Rebun.

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was small but all that we needed. Woke to a wonderful water view after arriving previous night In the dark. Dinner and breakfast were great Lovely proprietor and staff — use of a voice translator made for easy communication.

A beautifully appointed hotel that was super comfortable. It was across the road from the bus and rail station and about 15 minutes walk to the ferry terminal. Staff were lovely and very helpful. English was also spoken to give essential information.

Everything about the property is amazing. It’s well built and maintained. All the facilities work. The real great thing about staying here were the people. They were beyond welcoming and I felt like a part of the family.
