The location of this property is amazing! The view from our window was beautiful. A clean clean hotel with welcoming owners. Delicious breakfast and dinner. The Jeti Oguz valley is just an amazing place it was probably the highlight of our trip to Kyrgyzstan so beautiful with many options for hikes or day walks. We wished we had more time there!

We were traveling around Issyk-Kul Lake with our three young children, searching for a quiet and beautiful place to stay. When I came across Taberik, I was initially hesitant — the place had no reviews, and traveling with kids, comfort is our top priority. But the location looked so stunning that I decided to take a chance. And I’m so glad I did — Taberik exceeded all our expectations. We were warmly greeted by Meyrambek, the owner, who welcomed us with tea and cookies and shared that they had just opened for their very first season. The entire place is brand new and built with great attention to detail. The setting is breathtaking: nestled at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by untouched nature, with yurts and cozy cabins scattered across the land. The cabins have heating, hot water, and high-speed internet via Starlink, which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. The interiors are thoughtfully designed — wooden furniture, natural materials, spotless cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. You can immediately feel that a lot of care, resources, and investment went into creating this place. We passed by several other guesthouses along the way, and honestly, none of them came close to Taberik. It’s truly a different level of comfort and beauty. There’s also a stunning waterfall nearby, adding to the magic of the place. This location touched my heart so deeply that I couldn’t resist writing this review — and I don’t do that often. If you’re traveling around Issyk-Kul and want a peaceful, scenic, and genuinely comfortable experience, Taberik is the place

The host and their daughters were very friendly. :) We had breakfast and dinner together and we played pexeso and card game "durak" with them. It was really fun :) They treated us like family. They were willing to change our stay by one day later. Thank you so much for your hospitality

You made our stay sweet 😊 hosts were extremely nice and we felt like home. Due to plan changes we had to reschedule our stay and it wasn’t a problem. The best breakfast during our stay in Kyrgyzstan and we even get some take away which made our day after demanding trek 😊 Спасибо большое 🤗

Mars was a great help to organise our trip in Kyrgyzstan. He gave great suggestions on transport and a tour we wanted to book. He is as kind as he looks on the picture and he and his wife make you feel right at home. The room was clean and had every comfort we needed. If we go back to Karakol we would for sure stay here again!

When I went the hostel the room was all full so I couldnt stay. However the staff helped me to take a rest until my night time bus. I could take a shower and take a nap in the tent. It was funny and comfortable experience. The owner was so nice and the staff was sooo kind and cute 😆😅 thank you so much and if I come to Karakol agai, I will stay at this hostel again.

This is a really great hostel. We stayed in the double room and it was perfect, great value for money. Nice hot showers and nice shared kitchen. Lovely staff. Also there is a washing machine 😊
