It was such a nice place, that I ended up extending my stay. The yurt camp is at 20km from Sary Mogul, close to Lenin peak base camp, in an absolute superbe setting. It felt like a fairytale. The hosting family was so kind, they really helped me with everything. I was working remotely so they helped me with a SIM card that had full signal up there and they even found a generator for me to have electricity to charge my laptop. They also helped me with organizing a short trip to see a traditional wedding representation and helped me arrange transportation forward. I am forever greatful for the kindness I experienced here!

Turdubai, the host was amazing. A true gentleman and great ambassador for Kyrgyzstan. He spoke excellent English and helped arrange my transportation around for the starting point of the different treks and different cities. Really made my stay easy and enjoyable. Hot shower and great meals to recover well from the multi day hikes.

Very friendly family homestay. Everything was very agreeable in a small town where the options for accommodation are very limited. The dinner was delicious. Plus they have one of the nicest Yurt camps at Tulpar Kul with solar electricity (unlike the other camps) so staying there was easy to arrange.
