Appleton Villa is a true hidden gem in the middle of nowhere—exactly the kind of place you dream of discovering! The villa is incredibly stylish, with an elegant design and a cozy atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff was beyond attentive, ensuring we had the most comfortable stay. We were welcomed with a lovely cup of tea, and though we weren’t hungry, the mouthwatering aromas from the kitchen were hard to resist. The next morning, we were treated to an absolutely incredible breakfast. The entire stay was flawless—smooth check-in and check-out, spotless cleanliness, and a wide range of services available. The villa also offers super-fast WiFi, streaming channels in the room, and spacious, beautifully designed accommodations. If you're looking for a peaceful yet luxurious escape near Nuwara Eliya, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

This place is a perfect hub for Nanuoya and surrounding area. There is a waterfall close by and you live in the tea fields. You are close to the train and there are multiple viewpoints to look if that interests you. The family is extremely nice and we enjoyed every interaction and tea cup. It was so good. The owner is very helpful and the rooms are clean. he arranged everything that we wanted, including the transport. we stayed in the family room, with 2 spaces and in one space, it had 3 single beds and another space had a double bed.

The room standard is higher than in any other location we've stayed in Sri Lanka. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The house is very well-maintained, offering exceptional views of the surrounding area. The food was wonderful, and we had a very relaxing stay. It's a great base for exploring the region.

The homestay owner was incredibly helpful—when he found out I had lost my wallet on the bus, he accompanied me to search for it and report it to the police. From the rooftop of the homestay, you can watch trains departing from the station. The breakfast served is a traditional Sri Lankan meal—very hearty and authentic.

So happy I booked this acommendation although it hadn't any comments yet. It's even more amazing than on the pictures. Everything is new, super clean and really good quality. The king-size bed was super comfy, the hot shower worked really well and the room even has its own kettle with tea and coffee. And the terasse is just the best place ever. It was super nice to enjoy the sound of the river and I saw many birds. The Edinburgh tea plantation right above the property is also really beautiful. Everything was simply perfect. I would have loved to stay longer. It was one of the most beautiful places I stayed at over my 2 months trip. Thanks a lot!!
