I hardly grade any stay with a 10, but this one deserves it completely! By far, the best place we stayed at in Sri Lanka! The hosts were amazing, always attentive, super kind, polite and had attention to every single detail. The food was great (we had breakfast, lunch and dinner). The room was out of this world, super comfortable, clean, cosy, and warm. We caught a storm while we were there, so there was not much to do outdoors, luckily there was streeming service so we spent the afternoon watching a movie to spend the time. The shower had the perfect temperature and pressure, and they had all the ameneties! Honestly, I was super happy with our stay!! Thank you so much!

A newly built cute little family owned place. The mom and son are new to hosting guests and were very dedicated to making us feel comfortable. They welcomed us with tea and cake. They were very sweet and the place was comfortable. It is very conveniently located close to a tea estate. 10 minutes walk to the railway station and a 15-minute leisurely walk to Nanu Oya Falls. The place is also away from the touristy area and so you get an authentic view into the daily life of locals. The locals were also very friendly, and everyone would smile and wave. The mom got up very early next morning to make us a cup of tea and see us off as we were boarding the first train to Colombo.

We really loved it here, the family really gives you a welcome feeling. Like when we arrived they welcomed us with tea, cake and fruit This was also the first accomodation that was the most clean and the wifi was great!! They really took care of us, like making us tea if we wanted to and breakfast was delicious. Also a 10 minute walk from the house you have a wonderful waterfall.

A lovely room, very clean, with a beautiful view on the balcolny, and close to town A very welcoming host, who helped bring our heavy bags up and down the flight of steps from the main road, and provided us with a delicious vegetarian dinner picked from his own garden that morning, as well as sandwiches and fruit for our 6am train

The location was fascinating and really one of a kind. The guys were extremely kind and very helpful. We had a home cooked dinner in the evening which was delicious. Staying in the little cabin right by the river in the middle of the country side felt like being in a movie. The owner even gave us a lift on his tuk tuk to the train station when we had to leave.
