The design of this place is incredible!!! Botique feel to it. Great atmosphere! By the ocean, can listen to the waves all night! Beautiful scenery around the swimming pool. Great breakfast served with care and high aestetics! Nice attentive staff! They let us check in early and enjoy the scenic pool area!

Property is awesome and helpful staff room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is tasty come together with fresh fruits. Dinner also Excellent. The villa silence at night and i have peaceful sleep. Beautiful and grennery garden where you can relax and enjoy the fresh air. A large bedroom with AC a good bathroom. Kitchen. Dining room. Blacony. They also have 2 bikes free of charge. You have 2 minutes to the supermarket 7 minutes waliking to the Talalla Beach. Feels just like home super comfortable! Absolutely recommended..#The Villa provide sri lankan traditional rice&curry reasonable price also provide a tuk tuk service at a reasonable price run by our caretaker#

Always smiling, always ready with the best local recommendations, and so genuinely passionate about sharing the story of how he created the lodge—it was inspiring to hear and made our experience even more meaningful. After a bad experience in near by homestay from the moment we arrived in Ocean breeze, we were greeted with the warmest hospitality from Janaka who runs the villa. Villa is located just a few steps from the beach. Beach is wide, safe to swim and perfect for surf. Although mornings and late afternoons were busy with surfers you have a feeling it is still an undiscovered paradise, almost private because of the wideness of the beach, secluded from big crowds and city noise.  There is a turtle hatchery right in front of the villa and a restaurant and surf school runned by a friendly family. The room was clean with comfortable bed and all the amenities you need for the perfect tranquil stay.  Overall, we couldn't be happier with our stay, we will come back next year...

We had a truly lovely stay at Nomads Hideaway. The villa is peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by greenery, giving it a calm, tucked-away feeling. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into creating this space—from the natural materials to the cozy layout and relaxing garden nook. The hosts were kind, welcoming, and available when needed, which made everything feel easy and relaxed. Although it’s just a short distance from Matara and the beach, the villa feels like a quiet sanctuary—ideal for resting, reading, or simply being present. We only stayed for two nights but felt deeply nourished by the experience. We’d happily return for a longer stay next time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and soulful place to recharge.
