The Tara Waterfall has a nice view to the tea fields and up to the Waterfall, really stunning in the middle of nowhere. If you want silence and avoid from too much hectic and tourism (like in Ella) this is the right spot! Their service was very kind, too :-)

The place is just amazing, Sandeep was very kind and he did everything to make feel us like at home. We really liked that young guy like him started this modern project and it is important to support local people like him. The cabin was clean and spacious, the view from the cabin was the highlight! We really liked the hotel! We used it as a stopover to visit Udalawawe National Park. When we arrived, we were first given a welcome drink and then we were taken straight to the elephant orphanage for feeding time. Our hosts made every effort to fulfill our every wish. The room was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We used the pool to cool off and enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the accommodation. The Sri Lankan dinner buffet was the best we had during our stay. We particularly liked this accommodation because of its location and the possibility of booking a safari tour. The very next day we were able to set off from the hotel with the guide and the car for our 4-hour tour. We had a lot of fun and it was an unforgettable experience!

This place was one of my favourites in Sri Lanka! It is quite a lovely surprise! Calm area, very nice outdoor setting, the room was very spacious (as well as the bathroom!) So let's talk details: - The food: Amazing! home made food served on a banana leaf, accompanied by candle lights and the sounds of nature! - The Safari: Dimu provided us with the contact of a local who drives safari cars, and who was very nice company on my trip! He gave me a few pointers, and was very flexible with my requests. - The Massage: They also have a nearby masseuse who offers traditional Sri Lanki Ayurvedic massage in her home, with home made oils/creams.... Oh my God! It was so good, I did not want it to end! - The helpfulness: Dimu also arranged a taxi to my next destination, and made sure I was fully safe as I was travelling alone and it was quite late at night. He joined the trip to help me feel safe! Overall, totally worth it, you will really enjoy! !

Very clean and spacious rooms! Perfect located in Udawalawe, close to restaurants and not far from the Elephant Transit Home. Janith was an excellent host, making the little extra for us. He even drove us to the Elephant Transit Home in his jeep when we asked him if it was easy to get there by TukTuk. For breakfast make sure to ask him for his mother’s delicious toast!

The furniture and design of the entire place is spectacular, I have never been to a place that has such intricate details in everything. Food was fantastic too, best meal we had in Sri Lanka. Dasun, the owner, was kind and welcoming, we felt really at home.
