It's very quiet, in front of tea plantations, and comfortable. The host is very friendly and the dinner and breakfast are delicious!!!!! It's a 15min tuk tuk drive from the train station. Definitely reccommend 🙂

The Argyle is a truly stunning 5-star hotel in Sri Lanka. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, the hotel offers immaculate, comfortable beds and rooms, that are 100% clean, top-notch dining, excursions, a heated pool and a very nice spa. Every detail, from the relaxing spa treatments we got to the warm and dedicated staff, flawless service at the restaurant pool and everywhere else, created a perfect stay. Celebrating New Year’s Eve here was unforgettable. The team hosted a wonderful party that made us feel truly special with fantastic ambiance, food, fireworks and lanterns. What sets The Argyle apart is its exceptional staff. A heartfelt thanks to Vithugash who was just amazing and truly made our stay, Suren and Rushi for expertly organizing our trip to Adam’s Peak and onward travel, and our fantastic driver, Nishan. There are many more to thank.. We could not be more happy with our stay!

We cannot recommend this place enough Super clean and comfy room, beautiful view from the balcony (especially at sunrise). There is a lovely walk through some sunny tea plantations just behind the property too. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. The food is incredible and they serve large amounts of it. Saman also cleaned the mats from our tuk tuk before we headed off. If we weren't on a tight schedule we would definitely have extended our stay. Beautiful location, amazing hosts and a stay we won't forget.

We were lucky to be the very first guests at this brand new luxurious hotel overlooking tea fields and Castlereigh Reservoir. And we had the most wonderful stay because - our room/bathroom was big and very nicely equipped. The bathroom had a bath tub as well as the best shower we have experienced during our roundtrip in Sri Lanka - the food in the restaurant overlooking the tea fields and Castlereigh Reservoir was excellent - all the staff was very very friendly, attentive and accomodating - especially Mr Sathanahdah took great care of our wellbeing - the views - both from the room and from the roof top terrace are impressive - we enjoyed a walk along the reservoir and the tea fields We would love to come back to this beautiful place if we come back to Sri Lanka!

Everything! I am a fussy person and stay in the best places .. this is up there with them all.. I’ve never felt so special … the staff were fantastic! The food amazing and the views OMG ..     Mount View Bungalow is a nice place to stay if you travel across Hatton area, specially to Adam's Peak. Very close to the Hatton town centre. Place was very clean and organized. Rishad, the owner was very friendly and supportive and will definitely help with anything you needed - meals, parking, locations etc. Highly recommended for both locals and foreigners who expect a great customer service.
