The best stay of our 1 month trip to Sri Lanka. I highly recommend Amba Kola Udawalawe. We spent 3 days and never wanted to leave. Rooms and the common area are artistically designed. The owner is very friendly.The hotel is next to the national park.You can see many animals there.The dishes are also very delicious.They also organize Safari trips.Although we didn't see leopard, we also saw other animals.I highly recommend everyone to live here.

The hosts were incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to help us arrange a fantastic safari experience. The room was very clean and comfortable, though the Wi-Fi was not working during our stay. The food on the first night was just okay, but the hosts were quick to adjust the breakfast to our tastes, which we appreciated. Overall, their hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

What an authentic experience !..a very special time was had by myself and my daughter..a lovely jungle set up ..Prashan , the host was so friendly and helpful providing us with teas and coffees and any assistance we needed. Fire lit evening meals which were delicious compliments to the chef.. felt magical next to the river...They provided a private jeep for the next day all day safari package which i highly recommend as we saw nearly all the animals present....from elephants to snakes and then came back to a very comfortable tent with en suite bathroom. We enjoyed an early morning boat ride before we left . The wildlife and birds around the camp were incredible ...would highly recommend as we will definately return

Me and my sister stayed here for 1 night to do the safari. The owner and his staff really looked after us! They arranged with everything we needed, booked the tour the same day as we arrived, served us both lunch and dinner. They also help us with transport both there and to our next stay in tangalle. Really nice and sweet!! 😍 Recommend!

The owner was sooooo kind, we came around 12 in the night and had to leave for the safari early 6 and he prepared diner and breakfast. The Rooms are huge and ok. Wifi good The location : so close ! Perfect
