We received a lovely welcome, and the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. 10 minutes walk from the railway station and 15 minutes walk from Nanuoya waterfall. Great value and we had a really good time. Thank you!

Very lovely Place! It’s on the outskirts of the village and very quiet, lovely view of the area. The owner are super sweet, ofer a free shuttle service and the dinner and breakfast were delicious homecooked meals 🥰. Bed very comfortable and everything is super clean. Anytime again!

Fantastic stay in a central but quiet position, 10 min walk to Victoria Park or downtown. Very c9mfortabke stay.We lived the patio with the 2 swings, the enormous jacuzzi and plenty of hot water, the heater for the cool nights. The food was delicious both for breakfast and dinner. They gave us complimentary hot drinks at arrival and check out and many other complimentary things, will keep them a secret.:) The staff was great, polite, and smiling. The garden and flowers are pure beauty! Le Grande villa gives you a very boutique feel. They accept Visa, Mastercard incl.Revolut. It didn't work on through my phone but the physical R card worked, in case this might interest anyone. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Would prefer over the Grand, for the boutique feel.

A nice big room with a comfortable bed and views out over the outskirts of the town and onto the tea plantations. There's also a common area with sofa and dining table. Breakfast that was included in the room price was good typical Sri Lankan. I also had an evening meal on both nights which was ok and saved me going into town but wasn't great if I'm honest. Location is around 15 minutes walk to Lovers Leap waterfall. And there's a bus stop a few minutes walk away where buses are every few minutes and cost 35 rupees in to the town centre.

Appleton Villa is a true hidden gem in the middle of nowhere—exactly the kind of place you dream of discovering! The villa is incredibly stylish, with an elegant design and a cozy atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff was beyond attentive, ensuring we had the most comfortable stay. We were welcomed with a lovely cup of tea, and though we weren’t hungry, the mouthwatering aromas from the kitchen were hard to resist. The next morning, we were treated to an absolutely incredible breakfast. The entire stay was flawless—smooth check-in and check-out, spotless cleanliness, and a wide range of services available. The villa also offers super-fast WiFi, streaming channels in the room, and spacious, beautifully designed accommodations. If you're looking for a peaceful yet luxurious escape near Nuwara Eliya, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

Very big and super clean room with a wonderful view! Very comfy bed. The owner was super kind and helpful. I was tired and didn't want to eat in town, and he served me an amazing Kothu in the room. He also made me a nice breakfast early in the morning because I was going hiking. Very sweet. I only stayed for 1 night unfortunately, would definitely stay longer! This place is great.

Best place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. Sanjaya and his family are so friendly and service minded. He picked us up at the train station and spent the day showing us some great places, including a tea factory. They also offered us dinner, which was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place, it’s really a cozy heaven. Thank you for having us!

This is a very welcoming place. The owner is really good and took a really good care of their guests! Keep asking if i have problems or not. That’s really nice! Ordered fish curry for dinner and it was really delicious and for that portion, the price is pretty cheap. They can arrange pickup from the train station. The room is really spacious for family up to 5 people! I was alone so i got all the 3 queen beds for myself lol the famous lover’s leap waterfall located just less than 2km from the house. I really recommend this stay!
