This is a family owned and operated business away from the noise of the town, in a tranquil setting. Sanjeev and Lalith were very welcoming, and included us in their family and friends celebration of Sinhalese new year, which was exceptional. Room 3 was very large, and the bathroom spacious and just right. A perfect setting for respite close to nature. The meals were the best we've had in 12 days so far in Sri Lanka!

amazing location and a lovely team that is going to do what ever it takes to make your visit special. they have organized a very nice tuk tuk driver for 2 days. organized a private safari for us and last but not least arranged a taxi to Kandy and the driver was able to secure us a last minute 2nd class train ticket to Ella. simply amazing and thank you for everything!

The location, the host, Pradeep and his team were amazing. Pradeep is such a kind, gentle person who puts his heart and soul into ensuring his guests are happy. The food cooked by his mother was delicious -the communal meals were so tasty. Pradeep organised trips to Sigiriya and a game safari where we saw lots of elephants. Nothing was ever too much for Pradeep. On the 5 acre plot where the accommodation is located Pradeep farms using permaculture producing 100% organic rice, mangoes, cinnamon, vanilla, tomatoes, chilli, bananas, jackfruit, bread fruit and so much more. One of the highlights of our stay was a guided tour around the farm when Pradeep explained about the farming process and identifying all the plants. The beds were amazingly comfortable which made for a fantastic home stay. I would highly recommend Blue Mountains View.

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. The food served was really delicious as well. Would recommend this 100% to anyone travelling solo or with a family.

We had the pleasure of staying at Margosa Mountain Villa, and it was an unforgettable experience.  It's  really an amazing place to stay. We were completely impressed with the quality and tranquillity of the Marogosa. The atmosphere of the location is splendid. The rooms are more spacious, clean, and neat. All required facilities are there. The owner and his wife cook foods deliciously. The response rate is 💯. We definitely choose the same venue in our next leisure since it's absolutely more than the money that we paid.

The room was beautiful with a stunning and you can wake up in the morning and see the sunrise over the knuckles mountains from your bed! Ruwan the host , goes above and beyond to make you feel at home , how is so informative and enjoys engaging with guests ! The food, the location, the facilities, everything was stellar!

Anula’s cooking is pure magic. Every meal, bursting with authentic Sri Lankan flavor, felt like a warm hug — especially for our 9-year-old vegetarian daughter, who suddenly ate everything with joy. But what truly made Villa Mankani unforgettable were the people. Nalin — the heart and soul of this place. Yes, he’s the manager, but more than that, he’s the spirit of Villa Mankani. Kind, calm, generous — he made us feel truly seen and at home. We’ve met many wonderful people in Sri Lanka, but Nalin is in a league of his own. Binura — always warm, gentle, ready to help before you even know you need it. Anula — not just a cook, but a mama in spirit, with kindness in every word and every dish. The night guard — greeting us every evening with a smile that made us feel safe and cared for. Animals — three sweet, friendly dogs, and one tiny superstar: Ellie, the dachshund puppy who stole our daughter’s heart. Every morning began with, “Can I go see Ellie now?” When we left, there were tears… And then — the moment that left us speechless: as we were saying goodbye, Nalin quietly handed our daughter a gift — a soft little teddy bear to remember them by. That gesture, so simple and full of love, broke our hearts in the best way. Villa Mankani reminded us that true hospitality isn’t about luxury — it’s about humanity. And that the most unforgettable places are built not of bricks and mortar, but of hearts wide open. Thank you ❤️🙏!

The property is very close to Dambulla, but still in a very quiet place surrounded by the nature. The room was big, comfortable and well designed and furnished. The food was excellent too and the people working there has been lovely! A shame we only spent one night there.
