Located just a 3‑minute stroll from the serene Nilaveli Beach, this cozy B&B is in a perfect spot for easy beach days and exploring nearby attractions like Pigeon Island National Park and the Kanniya Hot Springs . Our room was spacious – with a private bathroom, balcony overlooking the garden, crisp AC, reliable Wi‑Fi, and great comfort overall . It quickly became our peaceful little haven after a day in the sun. But what truly set this place apart was the warmth of the hosts—Suman, Mallika, and their family. They greeted us even during our early arrival, having our room already prepared . Mallika’s home‑cooked Sri Lankan breakfast on the terrace was a daily treat—delicious, generous, and served with heartfelt kindness . The atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming—complete with friendly cats, chickens wandering through the garden, and a homely ambience that truly made us feel “at home” . They went above and beyond by helping arrange tuk‑tuks, and transfers, you name it—with helpful, local insider knowledge . In short: Location: 2–3 minute walk to the beach, with easy access to local attractions Accommodation: Clean, comfortable rooms with AC, private bathroom, balcony/garden view Hosts: Exceptionally friendly, considerate, and accommodating Extras: Tasty breakfasts, reliable Wi‑Fi, bike/tuk‑tuk tours, laundry, on‑site parking We wholeheartedly recommend Suman Beach Rooms if you're after a genuine, comfortable, and caring place to stay in Nilaveli. I liked this place, close to the beach and everything here is super clean. The breakfast is delicious and you get a huge portion. The owners are friendly and always take good care for you. If you stay here you should eat at KKR it's the best food in Sri Lanka! Trust me :)

Honestly I cannot say enough about the staff at this already beautiful property. Eric and his team make your trip seamless whether it's organizing trip's or a TokTok to making you a gorgeous dinner on request. Eric's response is ALWAYS "Ofcourse everything is possible! No problem" On our last night there I requested Eric to organize our favorite meal for dinner and when we came downstairs he'd gone above and beyond by putting a table out on the terrace so we could watch the sunset and enjoy our fabulously cooked dinner. The property itself has gorgeous room's looking out onto the beach. One of the cleanest beaches in Nilaveli. The room we stayed in room 4 had a dreamy view. The property is very clean and maintained.

I would love to come there again but not sure how safe if I come alone as the downstair apartment has a balcony facing the back of the hotel car park. nice pool but not big as it is shown in the picture. overall very good place to stay for few weeks the time we stayed the place is quiet and peaceful I hope it stays like this during busy seasons
