This place is incredible. The view over the rice fields is one of a kind. The rooms are big and clean, the pool is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Every evening the staff asks you what you want for breakfast. The breakfast is freshly prepared and so good.

We had an amazing time at Animals! We loved it here so much we doubled our stay because the place is just a dream. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "budget rooms" at first, which is just 10 seconds from the pool and dining area. Even though it's called a budget room, it's spacious & very well maintained and has a lovely garden, and the rooms have a large bathroom, a dressing and a terrace. The other days we spend in the double rooms in the main building which are like you're staying inside of a Pinterest moodboard. We got the privilege to meet the Swedish couple who owns the hotel & designed it into an absolute gem. They are just the best people, we talked for many hours & went surfing with them & learned so much about Swedish & Sri Lankan life during our talks. The breakfast included has so many options tot choose from and the coffees are actually the best we had in Sri Lanka. If you would be unfortunate that there is no room available in the hotel, do yourself a favour and come have lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed! Even though we travelled a lot and visited so much nice hotels & resorts, we never had the same experience like we had at Animals! The biggest thank you to Nalin, Samon, Anndala & Arvid for making us feel so welcome! ♥️

Villa Sea View From the moment I arrived at Darshi's place, I knew I was in for a treat. The host, Darshi, was incredibly kind and made sure my stay was perfect in every way. The room was cozy, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The garden offered a stunning sea view, and watching the sunset from there was a magical experience. The narrow street lights up in the evenings, becoming a colorful, vivid, and heavenly sight. It truly is beautiful to see. Darshi also prepared a delicious breakfast and dinner for me. The fish I had for dinner was especially mouth-watering and a highlight of my stay. Every meal was prepared with care and tasted amazing. Overall, my stay at Darshi's place was perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and delightful experience. Thank you, Darshi, for making my stay so wonderful!
