The rooms and the atmosphere are amazing ! The bed is very big and the mattress comfortable, the bedsheets are very good too, the best I had so far in Sri Lanka. The room is clean. There is water to drink in the room. Very appreciated! There is also a hairdryer. Breakfast is delicious, the host is a very good cook ! Don't miss the breakfast!

The hotel is very modern and clean. The pool was also very clean and offers a great view over the countryside. We had the same beautiful view from the balcony of the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were a little sick when we arrived so the staff provided us with tea and medicine. We would choose this hotel again on our next trip. We had the most unforgettable stay at The Lavender House in Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views all around—truly a piece of paradise. This was one of the most beautiful and welcoming hotels we have ever stayed at. Starting from the check-in and till the last minute of our stay, everything was perfect. Akila is the best hotel manager ever, he made our stay feel as home, we felt like we were visiting family house rather than staying at the hotel. The view is incredible, and you can watch birds and squirrels from the garden. The food was cooked by Akila himself, and this was the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Many activities to do around the hotel as well, Akila was very kind to take us on a guided hike tour with visiting a Hindu Temple. You can also visit Glenloch tea factory, which is a walking distance from the hotel, where you can experience tea plucking. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka, it will be just for visiting this amazing place again.

The staff were extremely helpful, and always extremely friendly. The price was extremely good for the quality of the hotel. The hotel is just outside of Candy, and not too far away from some amazing hill tea plantations. We rented a car with a driver, which was a very good value and I would certainly recommend.
