Hemantha, the owner and manager of hotel and his son Dulana have built a truly beautiful pearl in the middle of the rainforest. With excellent English, they took care of us and fulfilled all our wishes. This is our fifth time in Sri Lanka, but we visited Kitulgala for the first time during our travels and I can recommend this area to everyone to visit. Waterfalls in the middle of the forest and rafting on the river are among the great experiences that this hotel offers you at a very fair price. And then you can let yourself be pampered in the comfort of the hotel with great food and enjoy a bath in the beautiful natural pool or right in the small clean river that flows around the hotel. Mona, her aunt and her boy Shaun are just adorable. The place is unique and when you arrive, you find yourself away from everything in the middle of the jungle, it’s absolutely stunning. There is wildlife, beautiful birds dancing and a natural pool that is incredible. I am a solo mum traveler with my toddler and it was beautiful to see our sons play together. She even watched my boy so I could get enjoy the natural pool. Mona is a cool and lovely woman and I loved how her and aunty are running thia place. I would love to come back! Dinner was one of the best I had in Sri Lanka! Absolutely loved this place!

overall excellent property. it's just 6 months old so very neat, crisp and with superb interiors. The location is awesome just above a river. The transfer is done by boat due to it's narrow path which is very thrilling and exciting. (they are building a ropeway in near future) The staff is very much cordial and very helpful. specially Mr.Dolip the manager was really helpful. they cooked special vegetarian food for us which was really delicious. they provided us free Kayak and Our daughter enjoyed the kayaking very much. overall we really enjoyed the stay and we regret that we booked only 1 night as we could easily stay here for minimum 3 nights. qe look forward to come here again.
