Love the name, place itself which whilst tiny is deceptively larger than it looks helped by a mezzanine sleep area, very clean, lovely outside sitting area and friendly host. The whole area is of course beautiful too. We were also able to park our conspicuously overloaded car within the host's grounds for peace of mind despite feeling completely safe in the area.

Most of all, the owner is extremely nice and friendly. He picked us up from the train station and dropped us back on the last day. The cabin was comfortable and well equipped. There was even salt, pepper, coffee and such basic ingredients in the kitchen. Hot water was always available. The site is amazing, lots of sports to play, and a barbecue. You need to bring your own charcoal and lighting fluid. The forest and river around it are great. Make sure to bring anti-mosquito stuff!

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The cottage was clean and comfortable, very relaxing and charming, in a beautiful, quiet garden full of tulips and blossoming trees, and was easy to find. We had a private parking spot on site for our car. The cottage is very close to Cesis town and the castle as well. We enjoyed our stay very much and would happily stay there again. Thank you!
