This Dar feels like an oasis in itself. It has an impressive view of a kasbah. Fountains and gardens. Away from the road and noise. The staff was extremely sweet and attentive. Dinner and breakfast by the swimming pool. Secure parking. Well well worth the trip. Stay 2 days if you need a break! They serve alcohol.

Cute and cozy guesthouse; makes an excellent stopover point on the way south; super-friendly French owners (English is spoken); nice garden, sun loungers, and swimming pool; best WiFi we had in Morocco; excellent couscous dinner; parking on site; great value for the price.

Lachen, Dominique and their staff are wonderful hosts and their location and setting are both beautiful as is the design of both the buildings and the garden. Parking easy and secure. Food delicious. We would have happily stayed longer but of course were moving on. Thanks for a memorable stay and delicious food.

Dar Sofar is a lovely cosy property with nicely decorated rooms and a beautiful pool lined with the local glazed green tiles. The hosts Pierre and Valerie were great and we enjoyed our chats with them. Pierre gave us helpful insights into the local area and traditional artistry. The dinner here was the best we had on our travels - the couscous was a revelation. The car parking was also very handy. Merci Pierre and Valerie - on espère revenir.

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Sofar. Pierre and Valerie and the staff are kind and helpful and real. Dar Sofar is absolutely beautiful. So many places to sit in the gardens and by the incredible pool. Rooms are great. Covered parking is on site. We ordered dinner and it was amazing! Breakfast was too. Great advice on walking through the palmeraie and local sites. One of our favorite stays in Morocco, and in recent travels. Truly an oasis.

Very nice place to stay, super clean, very welcoming host, free parking directly inside the property, excellent breakfast and dinner (home-grown organic vegetables), beautiful location in the palm grove with a beautiful garden. On top of this, the room is equipped with AC and warm in winter. We also appreciated the special attention for sustainability (no one-time use shampoo plastic bags etc.). We can highly recommend to stay at Riad Tabhirte!
