The home cooking was the best in Morocco. Beautifully peaceful and really friendly and helpful family. It’s a 20 min walk from the village but that’s why it’s so peaceful!

I can not understand some negative reviewers like Salim. If you are looking for a luxury resort there are surely other options. But if you are a hiker looking for an authentic experience in a homestay with an incredibly hospitable family this is the place for you. Hamid was super helpful showing is some nice dayhikes around the area. A guide is not needed for that by the way but rather kind of a rip off that is offered as obligatory. Hamid is a proud Berber man you can trust completely which is not always easy to find in Morocco. His wife made us some of the best Tajine we had on our trip so I would highly recommend to enjoy dinner there as well as the nice plentiful breakfast. They are still building out the Terasse on top of the Building but you can already enjoy a nice view over the valley and catch the last rays of sunlight there. All in all highly recommended!

The staff was very attentive and very friendly. Our rooms were a good size and very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious dinner as well as a plentiful breakfast with a variety of foods. The location was easy to find and the property was very tranquil. The property also arranged a wonderful local guide for our half-day hike. We wish we had the time to stay longer.

We are 2 days into our 3 day stay. What an amazing place it is. Immaculately clean and wonderful, friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. The food is out of this world and the property itself is huge and beautifully kept. We hope to be back sooner rather than later. Atlas Smile mountain retreat would surely be one of the greatest artists of all time.Do try the cookery classes with a tour of the vegetable and herb garden. A special place.peaceful gardens, luxurious accommodations and attentive service. This is a place to relax but also to get to know the Berber culture.

A Hidden Gem in the Atlas Mountains – A Must-Visit! We stayed at Imsker Atlas Guest House for five unforgettable nights, and it was truly an extraordinary experience. Located about an hour from the city towards Asni and then a scenic 20-minute drive to Imsker, the journey itself sets the tone for a peaceful retreat. The views are absolutely breathtaking—snow-capped mountains, winding zigzag roads, and stunning landscapes that are a feast for the eyes. If you're a nature lover, this is paradise! Skiing, hiking, and exploring the snowy mountains are all within easy reach when staying here. The guest house is run by an exceptional host Muhammad who is not only lively and joyful but also incredibly accommodating, helpful, and supportive. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. Every evening, we were treated to delicious meals, including authentic local dishes like couscous, beef and chicken tagine, and other traditional Berber cuisines. Sitting by the fire pit with family, sharing stories, and enjoying the cozy atmosphere was a highlight of our stay. Staying here is like stepping into a traditional Berber village, where you can truly experience and explore the rich culture of the Atlas Mountain people. The blend of natural beauty, cultural immersion, and heartwarming hospitality made our stay unforgettable. All six members of my family loved every moment, and we can't wait to return. My goodness what a kind warm welcome from Ramoun & his staff. A very comfortable stay in this well loved spacious family home. Such good value for money the evening meal plentiful and the best tasted in Morrocco with local fresh produce. A great base to get up to Imlil for the most beautiful walks, scenery & meeting the gentle Berber people and their hospitality.
