Safe enclosed location, with enclosed parking within their garden area.. that was really nice. It was nice to have fresh coffee and some bread (loaf cake and croissant type bread) in the morning provided. It was next door to the OXXO which is a clean market (like a 7-11). The secure private parking was a real bonus as street parking can be a little stressful! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Nice central pool in the garden where you can sit and enjoy. You don't have a feelling that there is a main street just on the other side of the front building. We had an issue with the room and it was solved very quickly. From the hotel, you would be able to walk to Chichen Itza.
