We felt really very cosy there, the place is very calm and beautiful. The apartment is comfortably large with a nice terrace. I very much appreciated the yoga mat there! Saskia is very hospitable and her breakfasts were delicious. Thank you very much for a very pleasant stay :) A&O

What did I like? Everything. What an absolute gem of a property. I was hesitant to write this review, as I selfishly don't want more people to find out about Villa Trompenberg. But yea, the place is simply phenomenal. Really cool old house converted into a boutique hotel. Everything you could want from an accommodation and then some. Large, elegant, spotlessly clean, comfortable room. Bikes available for hire. Fully stocked 24 hour food and drink offerings in the reception / kitchen. Easy everything; check in, bike hire, coffee on demand, honesty bar, check out. The daughter in the family that owns the property was there in the morning making eggs to order for the guests, and chatting with her a bit was a total bonus highlight. Honestly one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I've ever had.

The boat house was exactly as shown in the photo and much nicer and very clean. The mattresses were nice and firm. Beautiful spot for relaxing and enjoying boat ride to the nearest lake. Robert was very responsive to any queries that we had. We were sorry that our stay was very short here, and we will definitely come back here if we come back to Netherland again. Thank you, Robert, for sharing your beautiful boathouse with us. Silvana

    The price was reasonable, and we were upgraded to a larger room which was very kind. Aircon was great, parking was great, very clean and quiet. Close to the highway - but for sure you need a car to stay at this hotel. Good location to visit some sites in the area if you have a car, including Amsterdam (as you can drive to the station and park there, or possibly take a bus). We visited Muiderslot amongst other things in the area.

    Located in peaceful town, but literally right at the train station for going easily to Amsterdam or other cities AND with endless free parking. Trains are very quiet. Staff very friendly.
