The view is awesome, over meadows to the sea dyke, with a sheoherd passing by to feed his most curious sheep. There is a terrace with comfy chairs and a little table. There’s an electric awbing that extensa over the terrace to reduce the heat. The shower was fantastic. Close to the lighthouse and Bakkerij P J de Boer ehich has the best Appel Stokjes ( apple pastries).

Charming and cosy chalet, decorated with taste. We really enjoyed the calm and the remote location in Hollum. The tenant was kindly available to support us setting in. We would just suggest to translate the documentation, especia lly relating to heating and hot water in English (otherwise we would have given a 10) .

    Washing machine and dryer, large private garden, location at the town center, private parking spot suitable for multiple cars, all windows had bug screens. Also a lot of basic necessities were already available upon arrival. Coffee pods, hand wash, dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods, toilet paper, welcome drink, etc. This was quite unique. We don’t usually see these being available, certainly not in this abundance. There was more than enough to last us the entire week for most of these items.
