I was looking for a close and cheap place to stay close to Amsterdam, I found this amazing property about half an hour's drive from Amsterdam, with the possibility of checking in late at night with the help of the smart lock, a beautiful, clean, quiet and spacious apartment awaited us, amazing hosts with a willingness to help at every step, in the morning we discovered the municipality of Alkmaar Amazing and quiet with lots of shops around the apartment, and with parking on the street that was already busy at night but with a parking lot nearby (up to 5 minutes walk).

Everything. Diwa, the lady who met us, was amazing. The apartment we booked we needed to change to Ground Floor, she fixed that for us. The best service and apartment we have EVER had. Alkmaar is fantastic too.

It was a wonderful stay!! The apartment is located in the heart of Alkmaar. It was so easy for us to access to the cheese market, restaurants and the old town area. It also has an amazing view!! The host Diwa is so friendly and provided us good information and help. We’re so happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it if you ever travel to Alkmaar!

It’s a wonderful historic house in the village of Grootschermer with all amenities. Location is perfect for car and especially bike trips throughout Northen Holland. It’s secluded and peaceful but within 5-minute drive to De Rijp where there is a super market and good bus connection to Amsterdam Central (2x per hour). There are a number of good restaurants ( in Grootschermer, Noordeinde and De Rijp) and lots of sightseeing attractions. Marianne ang Gijs are the best hosts! Wonderful warm people that make you feel at home.
