The place is perfectly located in a quiet and calm countryside. The garden is a lovely place to sit or to have breakfast in, with cherry trees and so many beautiful plants around. The owner is super sweet and gave so many tips for sightseeing. The breakfast each morning is the highlight and I always looked forward to it. The portion was huge enough to keep me full till evening. Honestly, there couldn't be a better place to stay, when in Netherlands. The place gets a strong recommendation from my side. Would love to come back.

What a fantastic accomodation after a long cycling day. Excellent breakfast, fresh orange juice, Joghurt, muesli, which lasted all day. The host is such a lovely and Kind person. He even drove 20km to bring what I leff behind at their place to the ferry before taking off, thank you!

Very comfortable, clean and practical. Everything you could need was at hand in the studio and outside of it. Close to shops and restaurants and the beach. A pleasant styled studio that feels like home. The host is very helpful and welcoming.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Captains Cabin! The chalet was not only beautiful but also spotless and fully equipped, everything we needed was there. The veranda had such a cozy and romantic vibe; we spent the evening sitting there. And the picnic table was perfect for a sunny breakfast. The camping site is lush and peacefull. The owner was very kind and responded guickly to any questions. All the provided information was clear, and check-in went smoothly. As for the area/surroundings: Petten really surprised us in a good way. The beach is within walking distance- wide and quiet. We also enjoyed cycling through the dunes and hiking in the nearby Zwanenwater Nature Reserve. In short: a lovely place, a cozy and comfortable chalet and beautiful surroundings. We'd love to come back.

    The apartments is after renovation, clean, all stuff (kitchen, chairs, bad, plates.. ) is new. There are many kitchen devices - dish machine, blender, microwave, coffee maker. Owner is friendly and kind, told us about parking, shops, train station and beach. Shower and bath also really comfortable. New soft bed. Sea is 20 min by car, good big zoo also 20 min by car.
