Our host came and greeted us after arrival to check that everything was o.k. The location was stunning, very beautiful and quiet. The cabin was spotlessly clean with everything you needed for self catering. We would highly recommend staying here, our best accomodation so far on our 3week tour of South Norway. The apartment was exactly like in the photos and had modern furnishings. The sea view from the balcony was beautiful. We had very comfortable stay. The host was very responsive and check in check out was smooth. I would definitely recommend this place.

There was a lot of work put into this property. You can see the owner made it work. The tv had an Apple TV connected. And the kitchen was filled with appliances to make your stay easy. A full oven. Microwave. Dishwasher etc. shower was excellent as well. Overall we had a great stay. With a great view.

The house is newly renovated with a lot of thought put into making it feel cozy and warm. Everything we needed was there (even some coffee and basic spices!). The house sits right next to the fjord and offers beautiful views even when the weather is not the best. The host was very polite and helpful - offered to help us with every issue we encountered and helped us make our stay even more comfortable.

Breakfast was small but adequate. Staff outstanding. Great fiord view, but due to the heat, windows were left open. Road noise was very loud. Closed widows wold allow a quiet sleep, but it was during a heatwave, uncommon for the area. TV and Netflix good. Owner was great and very accommodating. Super clean and comfortable room.

Sara is an excellent and caring host! She gave us great tips on where to shop and what to see, and was always available to answer questions about the house and the surrounding area. Villa Freya is an exeptional holiday home with really everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We stayed there with our children and their partners and felt right at home immediately.
