From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional hospitality. After a long journey, we were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks and cold towels, and even picked up directly from the bus station—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. Milan, the concierge, truly went above and beyond. He was the most attentive and caring concierge we’ve ever met, providing invaluable information before, during, and even after our stay. He took care of everything, from arranging free transport to the bus station and visits to the elephant breeding centers, to organizing our onward travel and bus tickets. His dedication to ensuring our experience was seamless and stress-free was truly remarkable. The hotel’s own safari guide, Raj, was another highlight. His passion for wildlife was evident, and his knowledge made our safari experience unforgettable. The team made sure to carefully walk us through all the tour options, helping us choose the best ones suited to our interests. Special thanks to the wonderful waitstaff, Robyn and Kabita, who went out of their way to suggest delicious local dishes and served the best coffee. Their warm service and attention to detail made every meal a delight. This hotel delivers on every front, from outstanding service to thoughtful recommendations. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about its guests, this is it!

The staff is so friendly and always helping. I booked for 3 nights and extended 2 more nights. We organized our 2 day trek through them and it was just lovely and the guides were really good too! Lovely tour and value for money. The lunch boxes were so good. The hotel itself has nice food and nice breakfast too. And the little terrassen with relax chairs are so nice to just take some time to chill. The beds were comfortable and the nights are quiet. Nice.

Very friendly staff. Food was good with friendly prices. They have really good guides who can take you on some really amazing walks in the jungle. I recommend minimum going for a 2 day junglewalk. Was really amazing with so many animals everywhere, including the tiger!

We were sick during our stay in the hotel and the hosting family (particularly Prakash) took care for us. They offered us all assistance and were really caring and accommodating. Prakash always replied quickly via booking.com and organized everything for us. Also the fact that nearly daily a Rhino was passing by the hotel was a huge plus.

When I arrived i had a nice surprise the owner came to collect me from the bus station which I thought was very kind . My room overlooks a beautiful garden the staff are friendly and there’s a very nice menu too . Everything is just perfect I’m very happy .

As birdwatcher I love the location. Next to the river between old trees. I collect 40-50 species of bird in one day just in the radius of this facility I like atmosphere and original acomodation and staff is just great, frendly and professional. .

The hosts are very hospitable, always interested in whether everything is ok, ready to help in solving any issue, organize an excursion, buy tickets for a bus, for local national shows, to the national park. We had a great time at Chitwan Village Resort! We came one day earlier, but it was no problem at all and we even got discount because we slept there 2 nights instead of 1. The food was very good and they had a big menu. The room was clean, had a mosquito net and good space. The day after our arrival we had a jungle safari, jungle walk and canoeing activities, which we booked ourselves, but the resort also had the opportunity to book it for you. They've also got parking space for your car, motorcycle etc.

The best hotel I've ever been privileged enough to stay at.The rooms were clean,very comfortable and the staff at this property are all great.Every staff members I encountered,from the valet to check in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help. I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Tharu Garden.Thank you ! Will highly recommend to everyone.
