We stayed at this motel just for a night travelling through. I wish we could have stayed for longer! the room was so clean and comfortable and spacious. And while it is on a fairly busy road there was no noise once you were in the room. The only noise was the train that ran along the back of the property but this was a bonus for us and was loved by our kids. definitely recommend :-)

Spacious and cozy house. Kitchen was well equipped. View of Taranaki mountain from the room was awesome. The host was very responsive and friendly.

I can't really say enough positive things about Amanda and Les, and their beautiful property. They were exceptionally welcoming, and cooked us a delicious meal (South African-style braai), for dinner - which had been arranged beforehand. They (and another guest) joined us for dinner, and we all shared stories and laughter. The property is a bit of an oasis of peace, with glow worms to view at night, for those who wish to seek them out (they're fairly close to the main buildings - try the Night Sight setting on your camera). The bed was extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed the best sleep of our journey. All in all, a great experience...and a great overall value.

The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, far exceeding our expectations. It was spacious and well-equipped, making it perfect for a family of four (myself, my wife, and our two kids). The bathroom was spotless, modern, and had all the necessary amenities. The entire apartment was even nicer than the photos shown on Booking.com, which was a pleasant surprise.
