The checkin process was easy (the key was found on the reception desk), and the room was very well cleaned and comfortable! Kitchen was well-equipped and BBQ area was also available (we did not use it as we only stayed for one night). There is flying fox in the yard and alpacas/ sheep are welcoming. It was unfortunate that we only stayed for one night!

We spent just one night in this motel on our way to Christchurch and we rate it very highly. The unit was cosy and warm, the bed very comfortable and we slept well. The hosts are friedly and welcoming. It was extremely good value!

A great place to stay at in a very lovely town. The room was cozy, clean and spacious. The kitchen well equipped. Everything was thought after. I took a stroll in the street where the motel stands, worth to see the turn of the color of the trees.

So close to Tekapo but just out of the hustle and bustle , picturesque location. Very cool full tiny home vibes, this wagon had everything we needed. The cute animal visitors were a welcome surprise in the morning.

    This property is managed by a beautiful elderly couple. This has all the amenities that you need. Beautiful location, parking at front of the apartment. I was lucky that I booked here instead of paying 4 times at lake Tekapo.

    Easy access, parking, and check-in. Country cottage vibe. Freshly picked roses in the kitchen a nice touch. Owner friendly and helpful 🙂 Our bed and the couches were comfortable. Fully equipped kitchenette. No staircases. Pub with meals next-door.
