Hayden was so kind as to let us check in earlier on a rainy day (as there wasn’t anyone else staying in our designated apartment the night earlier). Location of the apartment was an easy 5-10 min walk to the town centre and lakefront. Apartment was a really good size and had everything we need (aircon/heater, beautiful kitchen, great views from the balcony, comfy bed, tv with Netflix etc etc).

    Everything. The welcome staff ( Ryan ) at reception were fantastic. Our room was comfortable & loved our view . Bonus having restaurant on site especially when it snowed & free car parking .

    The Godley was very conveniently located in the heart of Lake Tekapo and near the eateries. The beds were extra warm which we appreciated a lot because of the winter. Having the bench outdoors and a parking lot right infront of our room was also a bonus. All in all, though the property is slightly older than others, we still had a great stay!

    Really good accommodation with free parking nearby. The breakfast is served in the Jackrabbit cafe, and it is organized in a way that you can order everything from the menu for free (I guess, if you are not greedy, but I did not want to check it). Even if you do not have breakfast included in your booking, you still can have 10% discount in the cafe just showing your hotel card cover.
