This is a special place with so much history. It was the warmest welcome we received in New Zealand from our excellent hosts. This is an ideal place to stay for joining a boat trip to Doubtful Sound (5 minutes walk away) or a short drive to Te Anau.

Very charming, like a journey into the sixties. Furniture and interior „design“ reminded me of my Grandma’s home. I loved sitting in the „living room“ with a view onto the lake, watching the weather change from sun to clouds to rain and back. Would have loved to stay longer.

    the view of the lake was amazing. The grounds were clean with limited parking for the rear rooms. The room was clean but had a very bad musty smell and was not pleasant to stay in.

    The Manapouri Lakeview Motor Inn provided everything that it said it would in the room we had. Wifi was good and parking was right by our unit. The unit was clean and well prepared.
