The location was excellent. Across the street from the shopping center was a perfect location for shopping and restaurants. Also, there was a taxi stand across the street at the shopping center so getting a taxi was easy.

For me it was a great area with many food stands right outside at all hours. The staff was excellent! So kind and helpful. I´ve got a really big room aswell with a fairly big TV with Netflix pre- installed, wihich is good in the evenings.

Nestled (not too far) away from the city's hustle and bustle, it provided the perfect escape into nature. One of the highlights of my stay was waking up to the breathtaking views of the Cordillera Central Mountains every morning. The vistas were simply mesmerizing and added an extra dimension to the stay, making it an unforgettable experience. However, what truly set D'Elements apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their warm hospitality and friendliness were beyond compare. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The team's attentiveness and genuine care truly elevated my stay and made it remarkable. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming. The hotel and the room was clean. The aircon was working and strong. There is a pail and tabo in the bathroom. It is within walking distance of the bus depots, museum and the cathedral.

One of the largest rooms we got within 2 months of traveling through the Philippines. We arrived by bus from Vigan City and they dropped us off just in front of the hotel. Very friendly staff, tiled clean rooms with a spacious bathroom. Two rails to hang your clothes, corner room 512 had a nice view and there is a 7-eleven next door. Water pressure is good and they have a bucket if you don’t mind cooler water. Cotton towels and sheets (slightly stained though). The last guesthouses lacked a mirror above the sink - not that one. Windows can be opened. A restaurant on the ground floor - if you are tired of fried food you can also get some California Rolls at Hotchick Sushi 5 mins walk. TV, A/C and proper Wifi. Tricycle to the airport of Laoag is 200PHP.

I stayed a total of 3 weeks in Laoag and frequently switched between the budget places. In this price range, I decidedly liked Riton Apartelle best. It's secluded enough for some quiet time (which is rare in Laoag), but not too secluded. It only took a few minutes on foot to good restaurants (near Northwestern Uni) and a co-working spot (with an outstanding cafe next to it). Price/Value is excellent imo.
