WE CHOSE THIS PROPERTY FOR THE FAMILY HOLIDAYS. WE STAYED IN TOMATO ROOM FOR ONE WEEK (2 ADULTS + 2 CHILDREN) THAT FITS US PERFECTLY. THE POOL WAS GREAT. DAILY CLEANED SURROUNDING AREAS AND THE BEST BREAKFAST WITH THE TASTIEST ORANGE JUICE EVER (FROM THE FARM ORANGE TREES) AND OF COURSE, ANOTHER LOCAL PRODUCTS. WE MISS ALL OF YOU 🐶 🐴🦚. Lovely new hotel in an old flour mill, lots of attention to detail and keeping the fabric and workings intact and on show mixed with vintage and stylish modern items and furniture . There’s a restaurant and counters round the kitchen where you can interact with the chefs who mainly cook with wood fire . Also a pool and a sauna and nice sunbathing area . We were the first guests and the lovely staff were eager to make sure we had a lovely time . The hotel is situated on the edge of a sleepy old school Portuguese town so entering feels like stepping into another world

The Green House was truly spectacular. We stayed here with a group for a full week and loved everything about it. Set in a sleepy village in the middle of the Portuguese countryside it takes inspiration from the local area and local tradition but makes it more refined. It epitomizes quiet luxury, with elegant and tasteful decor (it takes farmhouse chic to a whole new level), a beautiful pool, and a delightful outdoor dining area where you can savor the in-house chef's amazing food and their spectacular wine selection, from morning until night. At the Green House, you can do as much or as little as you like. Want to go for a bike ride and explore the countryside? Fancy exploring some of the absolutely superb local vineyards or restaurants? Want to have a kayaking or beach day? Or just fancy lying by the pool with a cocktail in hand? The team at the Green House was always ready to help, giving us ideas and insider tips about this lovely, undiscovered region of Portugal. And that is what makes this place really special - the service. Nothing was a problem for the team. They were dedicated to making our group's stay as special as possible, not only providing suggestions but also helping us with all the logistics to ensure every part of our trip was magical. The Alentejo is still a true undiscovered gem and with the team's help, we learned so much more about it than er ever could have imagined. While the hotel is fairly new, the owners draw on their many years of experience at the sister hotel Santiago de Alfama in Lisbon (where I have stayed several times) and you could tell. The same attention to detail and excellent service are reflected in this charming countryside oasis. An absolute must if you head to the Alentejo.

It was a wonderful experience staying at Quinta do Paral! The breakfast and the overall food is delicious! There are electric bicycles, which is a very convenient and pleasant way to explore the area. This is a top place to rest, to enjoy the nature and stunning landscapes.     The staff were excellent and very welcoming. The restaurant choices were limited but reasonably priced and good value. The room was medium sized and looked into the rather bare courtyard of the castle. The public areas need to be refreshed and the grounds were not as lush as in other pousadas. All the pool chairs were taken. There were only about eight spots available. Perhaps buy more chairs. Good parking space nearby. Nothing to really see in the town itself, but a good stopover on the way to another destination.
