WE CHOSE THIS PROPERTY FOR THE FAMILY HOLIDAYS. WE STAYED IN TOMATO ROOM FOR ONE WEEK (2 ADULTS + 2 CHILDREN) THAT FITS US PERFECTLY. THE POOL WAS GREAT. DAILY CLEANED SURROUNDING AREAS AND THE BEST BREAKFAST WITH THE TASTIEST ORANGE JUICE EVER (FROM THE FARM ORANGE TREES) AND OF COURSE, ANOTHER LOCAL PRODUCTS. WE MISS ALL OF YOU 🐶 🐴🦚. Lovely new hotel in an old flour mill, lots of attention to detail and keeping the fabric and workings intact and on show mixed with vintage and stylish modern items and furniture . There’s a restaurant and counters round the kitchen where you can interact with the chefs who mainly cook with wood fire . Also a pool and a sauna and nice sunbathing area . We were the first guests and the lovely staff were eager to make sure we had a lovely time . The hotel is situated on the edge of a sleepy old school Portuguese town so entering feels like stepping into another world

The room was very comfortable, exceptionally clean and displays the owner's attentiveness to details. The patio is lovely. Manuel was extremely welcoming and communication was quick and easy.

Case de Viana do Alentejo was absolutely beautiful. It is in a really old house right underneath a castle just like castles that children draw! The room was spotless, bed comfortable, and there were beautiful old shutters in the bedroom and bathroom. There was no one else staying there and the town was quiet. The host was very welcoming and helpful. There was a lovely terrace where we could sit out in the moonlight under the castle with a glass of wine! Pretty special. The small town is lovely. We did struggle to get food on a Tuesday evening in November and hadn’t appreciated what a great kitchen there was at Casa Viana. We could have brought our own food to prepare. We used it as a jumping off point to go to the beautiful town of Evora. All in all I would highly recommend.

Brilliant place for a relaxing getaway from the city and a great holiday. The whole property was amazing. Having a big outdoor area with grass to play games, the big pool, the barbecue area and the outdoor seating area gave us so much to do in the week. Being able to bring our dog and meeting Daisy, the resident dog, made the whole experience so much nicer as a family. Highly recommend and we will definitely will return!

A very cozy authentic and well equipped and nicely designed family home with charming outdoor space (pool, patio, terraze) and more than enough space for 4 people. Marta was so very sweet when letting us in explaining the house. Ceu (her aunt) was always virtually available when we had questions. Location was great for us who are keen in less-touristic places, village has some very good restaurants to enjoy local food and Talha wine (we even had a possibility to hear cante alentejo singing in Taberna de Enteirico restaurant). Plenty of safe parking places around the house. Definately the place to recommend when you are in this area of Portugal.

    The staff were excellent and very welcoming. The restaurant choices were limited but reasonably priced and good value. The room was medium sized and looked into the rather bare courtyard of the castle. The public areas need to be refreshed and the grounds were not as lush as in other pousadas. All the pool chairs were taken. There were only about eight spots available. Perhaps buy more chairs. Good parking space nearby. Nothing to really see in the town itself, but a good stopover on the way to another destination.
