We loved our stay in this hotel. - Spacious and very spacious comfortable rooms and bathroom - Kitchen amenities fully equipped - Loved the swimming pool - Beautiful and calming surroundings - My children specifically loved the playground in front of the hotel where you can pick up the midget golf equipment at the reception and also using the hotel bikes - Good breakfast - Welcoming and very helpful personnel/reception - Parking in front of the door

This is an exceptional place. A Xth century mansion, wonderfully renovated and kept. With amazing garden which deserves special review. The part we stayed in was well designed with beautiful old furniture mixed with new pieces and technique, everything - sparkling clean. Upon arrival we were given a private tour in the garden. Jose provided us with precious local tips and was very helpful and exceptionally friendly. The only disadvantage was that we stayed just one night. I strongly recommend having a holiday there! This was a perfect stay in a new and modern appartment, not far from Guimaraes. The appartment was clean, the receptionist waited for us to explain everything. We also tried the roof swimming pool which was great. The residence has its underground parking which is a bit small but you can simply leave the car outside. The breakfast was very tasty. We loved our short stay there.

It was an absolutely unique experience staying at 1720. The winery history, superb renovation of the winery buildings and the contemporary touches - refreshing natural water pool, the container bar and wine storage area, room amenities. Arthur goes above and beyond to make each guests stay enjoyable and comfortable. There are several indoor and outdoor areas to relax and a highlight for us was having dinner prepared by Arthur and Palmira and served with paired local wines.
