The breakfast selection was extensive and tastey. The room was large, however, the room was a little musty smelling. Not a huge issue, as we just opened the windows. Grounds were lovely.

We loved everything about this little hotel. It is a true gem for the cost. The staff were excellent; alwyas helpful and were happy to store our luggage on the day of arrival. The room was clean, comfy and lovely. We were in the older section of the hotel which had a lovely living room where you could sit and read. There was cake, fruit and coffe availabe all day, and an honour bar if you wanted a drink. Breakfast was excellent, The pool looked lovely but we were there in Febraury and so did not use it. But we did sit on the patio and in the gardens. It took about 10 minutes to walk into the old town and we always felt safe.

This resort is great for families. The staff was so friendly and even gave our baby a sweet present. The facilities around were great, with a small supermarket, cafe and restaurant on site. Of all the hotels we have used in Cascais this gets the highest rating. It's great value for money!

Chalet Ficalho was absolutely gorgeous, it exceeded every expectation. The garden and the pool were stunning and so relaxing, the owners were delightful to be around and the Chalet in itself is a gem, with wonderfully decorated and restored interiors and very confortable rooms. Will definitely be back & recommend 100% !

Depending on the purpose of your stay, the location is okay. The room had modern furniture, ample bedding, excellent hot water, heating, quiet, WiFi, tastefully decorated, enough storage space, detergent, everything a traveller would need.
