An extraordinary place, and old farmhouse made into a fantastic B&B. The views from the house is absolutely breathtaking. Jet and Ronald, the owners are very nice and show great hospitality. The breakfast and dinner served were also excellent. Strongly recommended!

Everything! From the excellent and detailed wine tasting, the views of the property, the infinity swimming pool with sunset view, the dinner and breakfast service, the painting with wine in their little garden, it was all beyond perfect. Highly recommend Ventozelo hotel and quinta for the best Duoro experience!! Perfect for couples and small groups. We couldn't hike as we were tired but this property has multiple mapped hikes which one can do as an activity.

New, modern and  very peaceful  guest house. The hosting family are the nicest people, very attentive and welcoming, making us feel at home. The room was of good size, spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The guest house offers an excellent atmosphere, very quiet and relaxed. Dinners were excellent, a real treat. We will certainly love to come back, anytime.

The location is absolutely perfect! The hotel offers the best view of Pinhao, the Douro River and the surroundings. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay near Pinhao. Make sure to save at least a night to have dinner at the hotel!

    Centrally located in a small, historic village, Mesao Provesende is a welcoming oasis of comfort, wine and food. The hosts, Ronald and his wife Jet, are friendly, obliging and hospitable. Car parking was free in the street near the house. Our room was large and inviting and the king size bed very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time meeting and talking with the other guests.

    Wonderful hosts in a beautiful hill top village. We had tasty dinner with the hosts and other guests, an very enjoyable experience. Parking easily found in the main parking area in town before you reach the property coming from Pinhao. We hiked down to to Pinhao which was delightful, walking on mainly paved paths enjoying the views and having no problems catching a taxi back. Don't let the winding road stop you staying here. Just take your time!

    The rooms were big and clean. There is a wonderful little garden and balcony in the estate with an amazing view of the the valley. The host was very friendly and offered us a welcome glass of wine too! Breakfast is served on the balcony with the view and is very decent. There is free parking on the street in front of the hotel.
