Absolutely gorgeous! Beautifully restored. All the old features have been incorporated, this gives the house a stylish, rustic feel. The host is very helpful and friendly. Gave us helpful tips which made our stay even more enjoyable than we planned.

Maria is an excellent hostess who speaks good english and made us feel very welcome, and always seemed to be on hand. The property is self-contained with everything needed to be self sufficient, with outdoor space for eating. It was very clean and comfortable, and Vila Franca has lots of character. The location was great for Lisbon and the many surrounding attractions in all directions.

The apartment is even more stunning in person than in the photos! Check-in was a breeze, and the communication throughout was flawless. The views from every window are breathtaking, and the place is incredibly peaceful. It’s super comfortable, especially the bed, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. This is the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. On top of all that, it’s an exceptional value for money. If I could give this place more than 10 stars, I definitely would. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Everything. The location, the accommodation, the pool, the attention to detail. We parked up the car for a few days, got an online taxi to Lisbon River cruise station. A FRS 2hr leisurely cruise on the river, hopped off for a lovely meal and back via train/taxi. Very relaxing and a surprisingly cheap day out. Also the Pizza/Pasta place in town was very good.
