The apartment was sufficiently large and comfortable. We found everything we needed in the apartment. It was well equipped and clean. The owner communicated with us very nicely and quickly. Parking in front of the building was an advantage.

Perfect accommodation even for a longer stay. The apartments are large, spacious, clean. New furniture, special attention paid to details - dishes, decorations, it was good to be like at home. The apartments are located in the mountains, where silence, quality rest, and fresh air will await you. It was wonderful to always have free parking. We lived in Madeira for 3 weeks in various accommodations and this one was the best of all - I recommend it!

The place is a beautiful oasis of flowers and fruit trees just outside of Faial. Spotlessly clean, big room and bathroom, with clean linen and towels. The beach is about 100m from the place. There's a parking for 3 - 4 cars inside the property. The drawing and dining rooms are big and excellent places to socialise. The kitchen is big and very well equipped. There is fresh produce from the property that is available for free consumption. Having access to the washing machine was very useful for us to do our laundry after a week of traveling. The lady taking care of the property is very friendly and smiling.

We had an exceptional stay at Refugio das Camelias. The warm welcome from Jeffrey set the tone for our visit, as he not only greeted us with a drink in their unique wine cellar but also shared stories and valuable recommendations about the island. Our room was lovely and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen including fresh bread and fruit, a charming balcony with a stunning view and a very large bed. The reading room, with two cozy chairs overlooking the breathtaking view, provided the perfect spot read our books as we enjoyed the sunset. Our three-day stay was incredibly comfortable, and the kindness of offering us a lift to our next destination was too kind.

    Yes I would definitely return. It is classic Adobe type architecture, not modern glass and steel.. thank god! Excellent value and the breakfasts 10/10. It is in a very hilly section of Santana so those with mobility issues would have trouble with the stairs and walks to restaurants close by. We are 66 years old and managed quite fine. Free Parking on the street was good.

    A very nice, newly furbished flat, a 15 minute drive from Santana and close to the Caldeiro Verde levada trail. The kitchen was well-equipped and a washing machine was provided as well. Trouble-free parking is available in front of the house. The host responded to our messages almost instantly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come back again.
