I stayed La Casa the Castara for 11 nights and loved the place. There is a number of apparents to choose from, each one unique and full of character. I stayed in 2 bedroom apartment which was ideal in every way. Each bedroom had en suite bathroom and there was open plan lounge with well equipped kitchen. Outside there is a big balcony with outside place to eat or just sit and relax. I loved the beautiful views from the balcony on the village and sea as much as watching hummingbirds flying around and feeding themselves from hanging down feeders. The location of the property is very convenient as it is located in the centre of the village with short walk to the beach, ships and local restaurants. It made feel like I was a part of this beautiful, tranquil carabbean village. The Casa the Castara is a family run property and the owners Narine and Scott are wonderful hosts who made us very welcome. I would be definitely coming back

    Breakfast was excellent- each day the menu varied - higher quality meats/selections being available on some days not others. Overall a nice mix over a 3-4 days stay. I would like to see a greater availability of seating or perhaps seating could be extended to the rooftop area when the restaurant is full. The rooftop pool and deck offer great views of the sealine and Scarborough- The Gym facilities are adequate for a hotel of this size and very clean and user freindly. Parking is convenient and FREE!
