Such a special experience! Gorgeous traditional buildings up in the mountains on a tea farm. Breakfast was amazing, as were the views, and we could easily walk to the bus stop to go to Alishan.

This beautiful hotel is set high in the mountains, surrounded by fields of tea bushes. The staff were really helpful and set up a WhatsApp chat with me that helped with directions, places to eat and things to do. Each interaction included photos of the route might have been tricky. Our rooms were large and clean with nice bathrooms and cosy beds. The views were spectacular. We only had 2 nights here so didn't go out to the viewing spots in the Alishan recreational area, choosing instead to watch the sunset and sunrise from the property's roof or our balcony. It was perfect. We ate at the hotel. The hotpot was a selection of vegetables, fish and meat with a stockpot on a burner. It was good fun and delicious. We ate somewhere different the second night, but in hindsight should have eaten at the hotel again. I wish we'd had longer because the trekking routes around the hotel looked lovely.

Cleanliness and the helpful friendly staff. Plus the location is perfect to view the mountains. When coming in April/May you can also experience the fireflies during the night at the property surroundings. The host is also very kind and provide us “tea tasting” session of its home grown oolong tea.

The lady that runs the place is super nice and energetic! She was very kind letting us cheak out 1 hour later than usual. We got a very cute double room (all wooden) and it was magical:) And I must say it was the cleanest room we had for 2 weeks!

The location is perfect, up on the hill between all the beautiful trails and with the most amazing view! The room was super clean and comfortable. The hosts were very kind and picked me up from the bus station. They also upgraded my room to 4-people room instead of the single room I booked. As a solo female traveler with no car, I was first worried about the location, thinking it will be difficult to arrive and to get food, but if you already planning to travel in Shizhao trails, you are going to get there anyhow, and then get to stay in the most beautiful spot that also allows you to watch the sunset with no need to go down the hill while it’s get dark. About the food- the place offers a big outdoor kitchen where plenty of families can cook, and they also sell toasts and other snacks all day. Nearby on the hill there is also a restaurant. They both have vegetarian options. So I just stayed a whole day between the trails with no going back down to the area of the bus station. I really loved this place

The host was very nice and friendly. :) We had stopped by Fenqihu in the morning and asked if they could pick us up from there to the accommodation and they were happy to do so. Subsequently, the host also offered to bring us to and fro the dinner place, and in the morning to the public bus stop. She also offered suggestions for what to eat, and how we could make our way to Alishan. The location is very near the start of the hike 云之道, and we really suggest anyone going there to visit it. The room is also very big and clean, and the environs very nice and peaceful.

The view was amazing from the balcony, placed close to hiking routes, the setting was relaxed, the room was clean, the breakfast was great (scallion omelet, apples, tomato, sweet potatoes, great tea) and the personnel was very friendly. The owner picked me up and set me off for 200 NTD each way to the bus stop. I was here in August, and there were no need for air conditioning. There was a machine in the room that cleared the humidity which was great.

    A very friendly family who welcomed us warmly. The location of the accommodation is among the tea fields, which is very nice. There is also a parking space on the property. The rooms are pleasant, with enough warm blankets for cold evenings. A variety of Taiwanese breakfast is available.

    1. The host was very nice and accomodating. He did a tea tasting for us of his home grown tea and it was delicious! We tried the oolong and the black tea. Highly recommend if you are into tea tourism. 2. There is a very cute and very sweet cat on the premisis. 3. The breakfast was delicious and the view was very nice from the breakfast area outsude. 4. The B&B is a short walk to a beautiful overlook of the tea fields. 5. We had a car and parking was easy.

    Very nice staff, simple but cozy bedroom, nice heated toilet seat, great location with a wonderful view on the sea of cloud and the mountain, cute garden, good breakfast, lots of nice trails nearby, 10min walk /3min car ride from the village with restaurants and minimarts, free parking.
