The homestay from Amadeus is a magical place. You feel very welcome and it is the perfect place to arrive or unwind. We loved it here. The Cook Ignaz deserves another 5 stars. His cuisine is fantastic, authentic and fresh. If you want to take a very special piece of Africa with you, you should definitely book here. We will come back!

A family run operation, Mr Victor and his brother Beatus, and team are very friendly, approachable. Communications with Beatus on WhatsApp makes things so much easier. Most of all they have many years of professional experience running a safari business, organising Mt Kili treks, offering cultural tours, day trips from the home location. You are in very capable hands. Ensuring safety, enjoyable activities or a successful climb. Staying 2 nights and chatting with the team, i am impressed with the kindness, utmost level of dedication to make everything work. I only booked the 1 day Shira Plateau trek, it was immensely enjoyable and fun. Excellent guide Babu taking care of us. This trek is easy level, i would highly recommend it. The home is sort of up on a slope, offering vantage views. Rooms are basic, spacious and very comfortable, most with ensuite bathroom. The meals are excellent, great service from the family. I loved everything! I spent one night when I landed in Tanzania, and felt like I spent a week :) All the people were really sweet, and Sylvester is amazing ! We went to the waterfall and did coffee experience, food was amazing, accommodation was great with a magical view on Kilimandjaro ! The breakfast was incredible, a choice or cooked sausages or samosas with eggs, toast, fruit, fresh juice and tea, coffee and milo. Well cooked for your chosen time and served in beautiful surroundings. Victoria, Emmanual and MJ were friendly, helpful and ensured my stay was A+. The day trips they offer were fabulous, with the Maasai village and Moshi market being my favourite. This really is the place to stay pre and post Kilimanjaro climb. It is quiet, relaxing, stunning surroundings and i had a thoroughyl enjoyable stay.

An excellent choice for staying in Moshi! Clear views of Kilimanjaro from the top floor and very nice, comfortable rooms. The property owner, Gabriel was very helpful and attentive in making sure my stay was an enjoyable one. The food and restaurant service was very good. Exceptional value for money here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again on a return trip to Moshi.
