This cozy beachside resort offers a peaceful, serene escape with exceptional service. The owner, Loay, is incredibly hospitable and always available on WhatsApp to attend to any needs including your meal order, excursion plans etc. (I have yet to see this service at another resort). Rufina, the friendly and attentive waitress, made every meal enjoyable. Unlike other resorts, this one has fewer hawkers, allowing for a more relaxed experience. It’s the perfect spot for relaxation, with a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this beautiful resort for 10 nights and had an amazing experience. The nature and surroundings are stunning. Anita and the entire team were incredible—so kind, always happy, and truly made us feel like part of their small family. :) We loved that it’s a small resort, which makes it so peaceful and never crowded. It’s the perfect fit for a relaxing vacation. The food was delicious, and the rooms were spotless. I highly recommend staying here!

This was my first time in Zanzibar, and I picked this hotel! Here’s what I thought: The food here is just amazing—super tasty, fresh, and high-quality. You can tell the chefs cook with love. 🥘 The staff is really friendly, they told us so much about Zanzibar, and the cocktails at the bar are great. 🥂 The whole place is spotless—the cleaning team does an awesome job! ✨ The hotel is right on the beachfront, so you wake up to the ocean view. 🌊 The rooms are spacious, super clean, and smell so nice. 💐 They even have their own garden! 🌱 I’ve never seen a hotel with a garden before—they grow fresh veggies, herbs, bananas, passionfruit, and more. Honestly, this was the best vacation I’ve had in years—huge thanks to this hotel!

Ycona was easy to locate once we got to Marumbi. The resort itself was absolutely stunning! We arrived in the evening when the sun was setting which gave us the perfect welcome with a breathtaking view of our pool side and beach front.

This is an amazing place. Not only the facilities ( highly recommend a delux room) but the service and attitude of staff is so friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Ester, GM Mr Eric for the hospitality and for going beyond our expectations. Thank you also to Ismail and Moana who arranged fun program ( watergym, swahililessons, villagetour etc). I recommend this place warmly and will surely visit again.
