Feels like home, the house owner kept the place super clean. We didn’t expect that it’s in such a good location that we can enjoy the Chinese food in quite a few restaurants nearby. It’s close to Caltech university too if you’re interested to pay a visit. Also, the fig fruit from the owner’s tree is the best I have ever had:)

Lovely hotel near downtown/ old town Pasadena (approx. 15 min walk to old town). Indoor parking garage, hotel décor, and swimming pool. I reserved a corner room and asked for a top floor (which I was given) and it was nice and quiet. The corner room is probably on the small side based on USA room standards however nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and with all the utilities one needs. Staff of the hotel is very welcoming and helpful. Nice bar and patio area at ground level.

The breakfast was great, with fresh, crisp bagels and warm, comforting coffee—but honestly, that’s not the reason I chose to stay here. The bed was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for rest after a long flight. What made this place truly special to me, though, was the location and nostalgia. 23 years ago, I lived right across the street at 42 North Michigan Avenue, back when this hotel was still Vagabond Inn. The service was outstanding—the cashier even waited for me in the middle of the night to check in after my long journey. That level of care and hospitality made a lasting impression.

    The room was clean. The staff was average. The neighborhood is run down and old.the public area such as elevator and parking lot smelled bad. Inside of the elevator door was damaged, and again smells awful. Breakfast room looks badly managed although spacious. If they can improve on those things, that would be worth staying.

    Good place to stay over while crossing LA. It has breakfast included even if its a bit poor they offer it. Room is big and has all you might need. It has free parking also.

    The staff at this hotel are friendly and they speak Chinese. The room is clean and tidy. Free parking and daily breakfast. This is a cost-effective business hotel. Easy to get around, you can find good restaurants within 20 minutes by car. It's not far from downtown Los Angeles and Pasadena. The bathroom is equipped with a hand shower, which my wife thinks is very nice.

    We stayed two nights. The room was very clean, breakfast was nice - good selection of food. Free parking and we did not have any problem finding a space despite returning to the hotel quite late. I would definitely stay there again.
